In Silencio vol.1 we explored the vast landscapes of dreams through captivating performances of emerging artists in Amsterdam. This wasn't just our opening event; it was an opportunity to dive into the depths of the human psyche, to connect with the universal language of dreams, and to embrace the transformative impact of artistic exploration.
From experimental soundwork, theater to visual arts, each performance was a window into the world of dreams. Talented artists brought to life the ephemeral and the surreal, granting participants a glimpse into the wondrous realms of the subconscious.

Message in a Bottle
Memories can invade our dreams. They are an extension of our lived experiences placed into an unknown world. One will rely on memory when they get lost in their thoughts, when reality gets distorted by a disease. Message in a Bottle presents a corrupted echo in a conscious dream state.

An animated collage of stored away memories layered, chopped and screwed together. Revealing and creating unspoken similarities between two minds.
Armin van Buuren did everything to become a successful commercial producer and dj, but he sacrificed his independence along the way. He lost it somewhere beyond the battening, urged sweep of his five-bedroom houses across famous Amsterdam canals, beach pads, sewage disposals, tourist incursions and his own wax figure in Madame Tussaud’s. Is there a piece in his music in which we can still recognize his nature or he just couldn’t escape his commercial destiny?
